Under the Grace

I lie awake in the middle of the night again,
I try to make some sense of it all rushing in,
There's so much I feel, within this my heart of mine,
I well up inside in my eyes, they overflow for I know it is grace

The look of love in the shape of your face I have known,
It speaks of this deep sacrifice you have shown,
And the wonder of it all is I didn't deserve this,
I couldn't have planned it so right, and so my eyes they overflow,
Let it rain, let it pour, let it go, for I know this, yes I know, it is grace

And the hungry at heart seeks for his place and a home,
It may tear you apart when you see what this grace here has done,
Fly, fly all you burdens, go fly away, till I remain, under the grace, the grace

It seems there is so little time to make amends,
If not for you that I am without a friend here

Another Christmas, another year of God's faithfulness. In good and bad times, He has always remained. Through setbacks, disappointments, heartaches, misdeeds, frustrations, turning around, His grace has been the enabling strength to complete the year's race. True love found through tough times and situations, God-created identity awakened by the fall, trust built in helplessness, and hope revealing the thirst for life and growth. Delight yourself also in the LORD, and He shall give you the desires of your heart. Psalm 37:4 NKJV.

Shalom,
