I Will Shelter You

I'm in your corner, don't worry about a thing.
If you should ever need some comforting,
I'm as close as the air you breathe,
I'll be the faith you need to believe.

Put your head on my shoulder and rest a little while,
Cos I'm here to hold you when your world turns wild.
That's just what love should do,
When times are tough I will pull you through.

When the hurricane blows against your heart,
And the skies' on fire and you don't know where you are,
When you've done all you can do,
And there's no one else to turn to, I will shelter you.
(No matter where you are, I will guard your heart)

It doesn't matter what tomorrow brings,
Cos together we can weather anything.
When you can't seem to find your way,
I will push back the storm, I will stop the rain.

"I Will Shelter You" recorded by Bob Carlisle on the album Stories from the Heart 1998 Diadem Records, a division of Benson Records, Inc.

Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labour. For if they fall, one will lift up his companion.
But woe to him who is alone when he falls, for he has no one to help him up. Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 NKJV.
Friends come and friends go, but a true friend sticks by you like family. Proverbs 18:24 The Message.

Surely GOD knows what you are going through, what your heart is experiencing, how your days have been. And surely He cares about you.
Won't you turn to Him for a little rest? Won't you turn to Him for love, hope and direction? He knows. And if you'd give Him just one moment, He'd give you a lifetime.
