It is finally here, *whew* :)
Deaf-initely Boleh!, a project which I have been working on with fellow volunteers from the Singapore Association for the Deaf, has finally launched her very own website. This was put together by me over a couple of weekends and some weeknights by the grace of God. Check us out at http://deafboleh.com
We have a forum and a one-stop portal that provide timely and useful information for all persons in Singapore who are dealing with hearing loss, or who relate to someone who has hearing loss. What's more, we have a family carnival on 9th & 10th Dec 2006 that will provide fun and entertainment, while at the same time giving you hands-on experience, answers to questions about hearing loss, and talks about issues surrounding persons with hearing loss in Singapore. It's a unique, first of its kind event, and I strongly recommend that to anyone who knows someone with hearing loss, be that an elderly parent, a colleague, a classmate, or a little child.
Deaf-initely Boleh! is all about helping persons with hearing loss integrate more effectively into the hearing community at all levels of life in Singapore. We believe wholeheartedly that every person with hearing loss is capable of functioning to his/her fullest potential when given the right level of support and information. Bookmark our website and join us as we work together towards this integration. People with deafness can - or simply, Deaf-initely Boleh!
