He will carry it to completion

There has never been the slightest doubt in my mind that the God who started this great work in you would keep at it and bring it to a flourishing finish on the very day Christ Jesus appears. Philippians 1:6 The Message.

"No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who loved Him". 1 Corinthians 2: 9 NIV.

Are you on the verge of giving up? When the only strength left is to throw in the towel and all hopes along with it? Too tired to carry on and too discouraged to hang in there? Well, let go then. Lay down all that baggage that you have been carrying in your heart and mind. He has never meant for you to carry it on your own. He has never meant for you to complete your salvation in your own strength. We have done nothing to gain our salvation and can certainly do nothing more to complete it.

It is the will or strength of the LORD that enables us to weather trials and setbacks. Turning "to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us". Ephesians 3:20 NIV. Similarly the same verse in The Message reads, "God can do anything, you know - far more than you could ever imagine or guess or request in your wildest dreams! He does it not by pushing us around but by working within us, his Spirit deeply and gently within us. Read any version, in any language, it is still God working within us, enabling us.

Don't give up before you have brought it to Him. Don't lose hope, Jesus, our living hope has defeated death and has risen.

It's not over till we see Him face to face. Our part is not to lose heart, not to give Jesus up.

May His love surround you,
Sv ",+
