Pockets of Time

If life is a timeline, its moments would be found in pockets.
Moments of truth, inspiration, love, sadness, joy, solitude and hope.
Awakening the heart to a deep sense of mortality in the light of eternity.

Reminding us that life is not a mad rush but of living, being and perceiving.
Returning to the soul what it needs, to draw out the humanity in us - full, rich, unabashed.
Listen, be still, be quiet. Listen, be still, be quiet. For the sake of those you love, gift of yourself.

"We prove the value we attach to things by the time we devote to them." Andrew Murray, The Master's Indwelling.

For what has man for all his labour, and for the striving of his heart with which he has toiled under the sun? For all his days are sorrowful, and his work burdensome; even in the night his heart takes no rest. This also is vanity. Nothing is better for a man than that he should eat and drink, and that his soul should enjoy good in his labour. This also, I saw, was from the hand of God. For who can eat, or who can have enjoyment, more than I? For God gives wisdom and knowledge and joy to a man who is good in His sight; but to the sinner He gives the work of gathering and collecting, that he may give to him who is good before God. This also is vanity and grasping for the wind. Ecclesiastes 2:22-26 NKJV.

The heart of Ecclesiastes......only in God does life have meaning and true pleasure. Without him nothing satisfies, but with him we find satisfaction and enjoyment. The NIV Study Bible.
Labour is a means to an end, not an end in itself. Wealth, fame, popularity, success and riches if not intended for good, will become curses and trappings.
If people can't see what God is doing, they stumble all over themselves; but when they attend to what he reveals, they are most blessed. Proverbs 29:18 The Message.
