Make GOD number one in your life

Dear Daughter,

I am sorry for losing my temper last evening. I don't enjoy being angry, certainly not against my own children, whom I love, and you
know Papa loves you.

My child, I need you to believe in and understand one thing - GOD deserves the first place in our lives. If you put GOD first, you do
well. By this, I don't mean you will be successful in everything that you do. Rather, I mean that you will remain in GOD's will and His
love, peace, joy, favour, wisdom and all shall always be upon you. The devil and the world will fail against You. The Bible says in Romans 8:31, "if GOD is for us, who can be against us?"

You see, my child, apart from GOD, we are nothing. No matter how talented, rich, or successful we are, apart from GOD, we are nothing. That's why many rich and famous people who live without GOD find themselves having no peace, joy or love despite having millions of dollars. They turn to drugs, cosmetic surgery, people, career, entertainment and things to satisfy them, but are never satisfied. They are like bottles that are broken and leak. No matter how much water you pour into them, they will never be full, and will one day be empty and dry.

As a child of GOD, what makes you different is the love of Christ. In His love, you have been restored. You are no longer a broken, leaking bottle. As GOD fills you with His love and Word, they will fill you fully, then overflow into other people's lives! That's how we can be a blessing to others with the blessings we receive from GOD. That's how we can love others with the love we receive from GOD.

Come daily before GOD, my child. Talk to Him and read His Word. For His words are "life to those who find them, and healing to their flesh" - Proverbs 4:22

My child, I pray and believe you will grow up to be a woman of GOD. Start by doing small things faithfully, such as reading the Bible and doing daily devotional. You are already praying to GOD regularly so keep it up. When you see the goodness of spending time with GOD daily, I'm sure will want to share the same with your children in future when you are grown up and have your own family.
