The Unseen GOD

How great You are
How great You are
You are the Mighty King
And You've come to reign in me

Now, it happened that while Apollos was away in Corinth, Paul made his way down through the mountains, came to Ephesus, and happened on some disciples there. The first thing he said was, "Did you receive the Holy Spirit when you believed? Did you take God into your mind only, or did you also embrace him with your heart? Did he get inside you?" "We've never heard of that - a Holy Spirit? God within us?"
"How were you baptised, then?" asked Paul. "In John's baptism." "That explains it," said Paul. "John preached a baptism of radical life-change so that people would be ready to receive the One coming after him, who turned out to be Jesus. If you've been baptised in John's baptism, you're ready now for the real thing, for Jesus." Acts 19:1-4 The Message.

No eye has seen, no ear has heard
The good that the LORD has prepared for those who wait on Him
To hear His voice, I AM the Potter and you are the clay

So Jesus take me in Your hand and make me all that You want me to be
Jesus help me understand my purpose and what You can do through me
Fulfilling my destiny

But as it is written: "Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him."
But God  has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God.
For what man knows the things of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? Even so no one knows the things of God except the Spirit of God. 1 Corinthians 2:9-11 NKJV.

God offers a full report on the gifts of life and salvation that he is giving us. We don't have to rely on the world's guesses and opinions. We didn't learn this by reading books or going to school; we learned it from God, who taught us person-to-person through Jesus, and we're passing it on to you in the same firsthand, personal way. 1 Corinthians 2:12-13 The Message.

The unspiritual self, just as it is by nature, can't receive the gifts of God's Spirit. There's no capacity for them. They seem like so much silliness. Spirit can only be known only by sprit - God's Spirit and our spirits in open communion. Spiritually alive, we have access to everything God's Spirit is doing, and can't be judged by unspiritual critics. Isaiah's question, "Is there anyone around who knows God's Spirit, anyone who knows what he is doing?" has been answered: Christ knows, and we have Christ's Spirit. 1 Corinthians 2:14-16 The Message.

The Spirit of God has come to reign in His children; not only to reveal who He is, but also to breathe His life into us so that our hopes will be renewed through Jesus revealing and forming us into His image.
True victory comes from the freedom which knowing Jesus personally and intimately brings. Real overcoming is living and moving in the revelation which the Holy Spirit brings to every situation.

For in Him we live and move and have our being,
