Sieze Life!

Still, anyone selected out for life has hope, for, as they say, "A living dog is better than a dead lion." The living at least know something, even if it's only that they're going to die. But the dead know nothing and get nothing. They're a minus that no one remembers. Their loves, their hates, yes, even their dreams, are long gone. There's not a trace of them left in the affairs of this earth. Ecclesiastes 9:4-6 The Message.

Been pretty tired lately. Nuances of life and work. Intensity versus quantity. Delivery versus appreciation. You, in this line of work know what I mean. People are treated like statistics.
Yet, it's the comradeship that we have found that keeps us going, motivated. In this demanding and mercenary industry, there are still fools who believe in a higher calling, in humanity, in God.

Likewise in life, it's your friendship and kinship that has touched my heart when I have least spoken of it and ironically, have needed it most. Your genuineness, your availability and your honesty.
Like trapping through a forest, we only begin to appreciate what life has to offer us if we keep at it. It's the obsession that possesses us that empowers us to make things happen.

I like to quote my older cousin who shared this with me, "Either way, there's hope. If He keeps us here, there must be something exciting He will partner with us. If He brings us home, praise Him!".
Regardless of the circumstance, He is with us. Regardless of our fears, doubts and weaknesses, He is for us, oblivious to human eyes and understanding, He says, "I am your strength and I love you".
