A substance that aids, induces, or otherwise actively participates in fusing or flowing. Flux has a purpose, it serves a function. It is instrumental in connecting two parts of an item together, hence making it complete. Similarly as a state of change, flux lies in between "before" and "after". While in a state of flux, perhaps we can do some soul-searching. Don't settle for superficial answers, but allow whatever you perceive to come from your heart and return there.

Perhaps the Big Man is trying to show us something about ourselves. Perhaps He is trying to show us a more fulfilling way of living.
Maybe He is trying to fine tune something in us, hence the unsettledness and discomfort. And since we have neglected it in the midst of our busyness and
dullness of hearing and perceiving, He could be trying to revive our soul.
He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also He has put eternity in their hearts, except that no one can find out the work that God does from beginning to end. I know that nothing is better for them than to rejoice, and to do good in their lives, and also that every man should eat and drink and enjoy the good of all his labour – it is the gift of God. Ecclesiastes 3:11-13 NKJV
