Look who's fighting

I have had it up till here. Never have I been so disappointed with the people in the family of Christ that I work with. Why can't we live amicably and love one another just as Jesus has commanded and demonstrated in action?

I will never know till I meet Christ face to face. I am sure He will then explain to me why things happened the way they did, and what I could have done about them. For now, I will just endure, turn the other cheek, go the extra mile, whatever.

One day, when I am swollen all over, and not only on my cheeks, but all over with only enough strength to step out, I will call it a day and move on. If I am not wanted here, I will go. I guess this was how Jesus felt when He was rejected in his hometown of Nazareth. He was scorned, rated second-class and undesirable. Here I am, putting well-honed IT talents and creativity into good use serving a Christian organization, and there's my beloved colleague shooting fiery darts at me a.k.a friendly fire, front, back and all over. What for, I ask? Why kill me? Will it help ya? I am already dead, crucified with Christ, so why bother to bomb me at all? You might as well be using these ammunition to fight the devil and lead more souls to Jesus.

Stop wasting time, reflect on your identity in Christ, and get a real life. You know who you are, and even though you don't read this blog, I am writing this down as a form of shaking the dust off my sandals. Pray hard that you will get some compliant IT colleague to fulfil your whims and fancies once I am out of here. As for me, I only hope that your slick tongue will find a good & acceptable answer for God when you meet him face to face for all the politicking and senseless decisions and lobbying.
