The Insanity of Humanity

A thousand barnacles![whatever that means]. I just got to share this.

A few days ago, while digesting my usual staple of technology news, I came across an extremely disturbing article (free registration required) from New York Times Technology. It's a report on pedophiles. I was mortified at the extent this movement has developed and is developing. It shows just how depraved the human mind can become; a bottomless pit if you ask me. It reminds me of the time when the gay movement started. Initially the thought of homosexuality was repulsive to most. Over time, as the movement went on to secure more rights and recognition, it has suddenly become alright & even hip to be gay. In fact, our national leaders have even said that gays should be welcome and treated with respect, not discrimination.

I'm not about to scream "Crucify the gays, pedophiles and fornicators!" anytime soon, but I will not hesitate to announce ala MRT style "Next station - Hell & the eternal lake of fire TERMINAL station. All passengers must alight" to all who believe that it's their right to treat their bodies and those of others anyway they like in order to gratify their unfathomable desires.

The pedophile movement is an indication of how the abnormal becomes the norm over time, with lots of lobbying of course. No sane and responsible person will see a newborn baby as signaling a desire for sex when he exposes himself while having a change of diapers. Nor will such a person think that a child wants sex when he touches his crotch to signal a need to go to the toilet. What about a "charitable group" that raises fund to send boys from poorer countries to first world nations to be sexually abused during holiday camps? Under the pretext of liberation, this group of people have been justifying their obsession as something akin to the noble intentions of a freedom fighter. They fail to see how low they have sunk and how far their moral compass have swung the other way. They fail to see any living person as more than a sex object. They fail to see that they have had to band together in order to feel good about what they are doing, when it's obvious that their conscience have more than pricked them since they started giving in to these unnatural desires.

Really, at the end of the day, no matter how well, eloquent and convincing these people make out their case to be; no matter how talented or accomplished these people are professionally, a sin that's justified is not a sin annulled but a sin twice over. And if what they do doesn't escape the attention of our all-knowing God, no amount of words or jurisdiction can get them out of the lake of burning sulphur, which by the way, comes under the jurisdiction of our God.

"Outside are the dogs, those who practice magic arts, the sexually immoral, the murderers, the idolaters and everyone who loves and practices falsehood." Now, I didn't say that. God did. Check out Revelation 22:15 if you don't believe.
