Undeserved Yet Unreserved

Hear it from the ostracised leper whom Jesus healed. Mark 1:40-42.
Listen to His conversation with the despised Samaritan woman. John 4:5-29.
While the crowd was getting ready to stone the adulteress, He displayed solidarity. John 8:1-11.
Reaching out to the disciple who denied ever knowing Him after His arrest (John 21:15-17),
keener to save his own skin than have anything to do with his rabbi of three years. Matthew 26:69-75.
What about the other disciple who betrayed Him for thirty pieces of silver? Matthew 26:47-49.
Could he have used a second chance? Wouldn't any of us?
When our reputation is at stake or when our life is at risk, what will the litmus test reveal of our hearts?
"For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves;
it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast." Ephesians 2:8-9 NKJV.
Lost, used and broken when You found me.
Unrecognisable yet You knew me, calling me by name.
Took me into Your house, teaching me how to read and write.
Years have passed, Lord. Your grace still amazes me. An undeserving sinner receiving unreserved grace.
A Jesus-pardoned sinner,
