Language of Silence

The language of silence, one not spoken in words.
A silence that belies a deep longing beneath. Cry freedom.

Lord, all my desire is before You; and my sighing is not hidden from You.
My heart pants, my strength fails me; as for the light of my eyes, it also has gone from me.
Psalm 38:9-10 NKJV.

Through life's ups and downs, what keeps us going?
Looking up in the desert, not a cloud in sight. Man, oh man, is the sun scorching!

I once was young, now I'm a graybeard -
not once have I seen an abandoned believer, or his kids out roaming the streets.
Psalm 37:25 MSG.

Through life's ups and downs, what keeps us going?
A God, though bigger than all our doubts and despair,
loves us enough to occupy that small little room in our heart to keep our hopes alive.

Why are you down in the dumps, dear soul? Why are you crying the blues?
Fix my eyes on God - soon I'll be praising again. He puts a smile on my face. He's my God.
Psalm 42:5 MSG.

Hearing beyond words, He listens to the voice of our heart.
He puts His ears out for the language of silence. Cry freedom.
