It was Psalms 6:6 for me last night. This verse says "I am worn out from groaning; all night long I flood my bed with weeping and drench my couch with tears." What happened? I wasn't persecuted by any enemy; I just felt lost and foolish, regarding an earlier chapter in my life, which still haunts me. I cried out to God for help. No word from the Bible came, instead, a song which I have not heard for a long time instantaneously floated into my mind. It was God's answer to my crying.
More of You
Jesus, I am thirsty
Won't you come and fill me
Earthly things have left me dry
Only You can satisfy
All I want is more of You
Chorus:
All I want is more of You
All I want is more of You
Nothing I desire Lord,
but more of You,
More of You
That instant, my weeping stopped. Jesus, the ever gentle Shepherd, came and comfort this lost sheep. I still do not have any answer as to what I should do, but just like what Hannah, my 12-year old Sunday School student said last Sunday, "I may not understand God all the time, but I trust Him because He knows what is best for me".
Profound, but straight to the point.
God know His plans for me. My brother James at my workplace gave me Jeremiah 29:11 a few weeks back. "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.". Even as I write this blog, I am ministered to already.
Thank you, Lord Jesus, your grace is ever sufficient for me.
